I AM ABOUT TO HAVE A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN :eek: ! I have been trying for days to figure out how to insert my doll pic into my profile to use instead of the yucky avatars!! With noooo luck I might add :mad: Please break it down for this "computer idiot savant" :confused: Thanks for your help! Tamara

Don't feel bad I can't do it either, I am waiting for someone who knows to reply so I can do it. We'll wait it out together. :)

Before you can post your pictures on here, you have to have them posted to a website somewhere on the great wide web. MSN and other places have free sites where you can do this. Once your picture is on a web site follow the steps below to post a pic in the avatar, in your signature line or in your posts. Good luck!

1. go to the website where you have your picture.
2. open the picture on the website.
3. right click on the picture.
4. in the pop up screen you get, click on properties.
5. highlight and copy the ENTIRE address listed for your picture. (some are really long, some short)
6. come here.
7. for the avatar: go into the avatar choices and where the chosen avatar is listed, paste your pic's address.
8. for the signature line: go to your profile and in your signature line paste your address in between the tags: without any spaces.
9. for a picture in your post, simply type tags with your address in between.

this takes a little practice to get familiar with the process but soon you'll be posting pics just like everyone else!

well darn it holly.you make it seem so easy...hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. :D ...i have managed to get my mug shot up there but the doll thing.....waaaaaaaaa i say..i couldn't get it past the point of the copy and paste thing- a- ma- jig ya need to do in a paint shop.it's all laten to me.....computers are just not my forte...lol..when i saw jorae's doll i wanted one so bad.made the doll and couldn't figure the paint shopo part never mind the other stuff...and that was back in nov...so i guess i kinda gave up...

.i almost gave up on the pic thing.i got obsessed with it all....until i got it.and god help me when i want to post another pic up there.cuz i know it will be like starting all over,,,,,, :rolleyes: and bummer cuz i have another pic from dec i wanted to post too..not that i look any different though.i can't see a difference.but a while ago some one said it's nice to see different pics cuz you get a better prospective about the person seeing them in different ways....
