can you or Luv help us to decide on a nice, reasonable hotel to stay in? I think she had mentioned the LaQuinta so I checked it out but there were 2 or 3 listed in Nashville.
A friend moved there a few years ago and I remember staying at the Ramada Inn (I think). It had an Applebee's in the lobby and it was near Opry Mills.

Depending on my traveling companions, I wouldn't mind driving in that Friday morning and leaving Sunday night or Monday morning

We have a La Quinta the number is 615 834 6900 and the rates are $65 for a double....perk...it's very close to my house and we can do breakfast there and then do whatever....go to the lake and walk ...go to the Y ...or sight see ...whatever you guys wanna do

since i'm a new member and 'arriving' at this late, was there a specific reason/event folks were looking in/around the opryland hotel? if not, there are lots of hotels downtown/west end/green hills, too.

Hey Luv ,and bebe, and all you nashvegas'ers..

I'm so blasted excited to come out t here... i never imagined i'd be going to nashville.. never make it out of my neck of the woods that often and if i do it's only to salt lake city or denver.

Okay only one request while you guys are looking into motels... please try getting one that has shuttles to the airport for us folk that have to fly in... :)

I will be more than happy to room with someone. My hubby works on strictly commission so I have to set myself a spending limit.

Ber, I am unsure of the dates. I think they are on the other post. 3rd or 4th weekend in March.
We are getting together just to meet one another.
Phensters have set up gatherings all over: There is the PhenCruise every year, The Lake Tahoe gathering, and we had a gathering in NC a few months ago. It seems as though Nashville will be the biggest yet.... I hope so and I can't wait!!

BeBe...As far as location goes...I'm in what they call the Crieve Hall area of Nashville...very close to I-65...Harding and Franklin Rd.
BeBe that may not sound familar to you but the Nashville folks will probably know where I'm at...I think N&E and Charbeth live in Smyrna...a town just outside of Nashville...I dont know where Ber lives..
