No more Phen for me.....

Well my 6 months prescritpion ended yesterday. I started at 269 and ended up at 211. I went from 42 waist to almost a 34. Crazy. I plan on going to the doctor and getting another 6 months so I can have help hitting my goal of 185. But if he says no Ill just have to try it without.

congratulations tony! great weight loss. good luck trying to do without it. me, i am having a really hard time without phen. i lost 111 lbs since july, and i still have 40 more to go. i ran out of phen and went without for about two weeks. on christmas day and few days after, it was a nightmare. i gained 4 lbs in 5 days. back on the phen again, 2 more refills. going to see my dr tomorrow to discuss long term plans, i think i must have some kind of problem chemically that i cannot manage to eat sensibly without it. sounds like an excuse, but it really isn't. anyone with a weight problem understands, i think. good luck!!

jbaby - I think you're right. We don't do this because we're terrible people, or because we enjoy it. There's something wrong. I PRAY that they find an answer during my lifetime. It the pits to live this way.

Tony, you have done so well. I hope you can continue without the phen. I hope you'll keep us posted. I know I'm hoping that I'm relearning how to eat while on the phen, and that when I stop it, I'll be able to continue eating this way...I hope and pray. Good luck to you.

You know you can get as much phen you want over the net!! Ya I know you may pay top $$ for it but look at the bright side you'll loose the weight and it's a tax right off! I know I wrote off 90% of my family's and my medical cost last year. Think about it!
