Since phentermine is supposed to be for short term use, does it still continue to work as well for you after several months? Do you still feel its effects? Do you take periodic breaks from the phen and then go back to it? It is encouraging that some people seem to be able to continue to take it with success after months of use.

Dont call myself a long term user yet but have been on since the end of July. I skip days, change types etc every so often. I have felt the tolerance but then change and Im back to normal again. I think it is different for everyone. Some never talk of the tolerance, while for me it happened about 3 weeks the first time, then the next ones I went about 3 months and then was still ok but changed again.. been on this one since the end of Nov.

I've been on phen on and off for about 2 years now. I was first on it and lost 30 lbs very successfully. I did need, during that 1 year period, to up my dosage from 15 to 30 Mgs. Well now (post baby) that I went back on in the fall, it doesn't do much for my appetite at all and I'm really struggling to lose my weight.

Does anyone have any advice to share? I'm really having a hard time. I still have about 1/4 bottle of my ** left. I'm afraid that 60 mg a day is way too much!
