I've been on phen for a month and things seem to be fine so far. The only thing that concerns me is should I be seeing a doctor. I'm in school and my hubby's work doesn't cover the family on health insurance. We have the kids on discounted insurance through the state but no insurance will cover me. About 2 months ago I went to the clinic here and the doc said that he would put me on weight loss meds. I came back 2 weeks later and he tried to put me on antidepessents, telling me that weight loss meds are very dangerous and most of the time they don't work. He told me that if I took the antidepessents I wouldn't eat as much. I told him that I'm depressed because I'm over weight and my weight is what is causing my high blood sugars. This is the same clinic that told me that my thyroid levels were low because I breatfed my kids. This year I found out that my thyroid levels drop for a year after birth.I want to see a doc but I fear going back to that clinic. Also I can't afford to go to my old doc.maybe that's why I bought my meds on line. Any advice?
Bless Julia
