I did Yoga in the heat. It was wonderful. Afterwards I felt soooo relaxed. It was hard but I think it will get better with time.

Yay, Delyette!!!

I went to my class last night, and after all the "good" bad stuff I had over Christmas (not to bad, but definately tooooo much wine:rolleyes :) I had a hard time in class. Did you notice you were nauseaded (sp?) during any of the poses? The one that makes me wanna ralph is the camel - you are on your knees, palms on your lower back, and you arch backwards, eventually resting your hands on your ankles. I can barely even get my palms on my lower back with out feeling like I'm going to be sick. It really shows you how many toxins can be stored in the body. All that twisting and breathing really does help to release it - not to mention the heat helps sweat it out!

I'm so glad you liked it, I'm going to class again tonight!

Keep it up!

:)

I had to set down alot because I wasn't used to the heat. I am going to try and drink alot of water today so when I go tonight I won't fell as bad. Were you sore the next day. My arms and hips are kind of sore today. But I am going to go back tonight.

After my second class, I was sore for about 3 days - very sore arms and back, not as sore in the hips or legs or buttocks.

Today, I can feel it more in my hips, but not nearly like I did last week.

Lot's of water is a good idea! I think I'll join you! *walking to water cooler*

Has anyone really lost weight doing yoga? I've always wanted to do it, but it just doesn't look like you are doing much action to loose weight. Anyone had success with it?
