Nashville Trip Info and Date (please reply)

After much research, Nashville seems like the place most of you have requested and/or said that you'd be able to make b/c you don't fly, it's close, etc. So, after carefully reviewing the Dirty South post, here's the Nashville Roster (including maybes)..

If I'm missing anyone or if your name is on there and you want it off, please let me know! I think 10/12 people said that August would be a good date for them. Can anyone suggest specific dates? I'm not getting much info from everyone with my being so indirect, so I'm just going to ask.. what date is good for you? We really need to set a date so we'll at least have something to aim for and that way Jamaica can help us decide what to do and where to stay.

And please, if you have any other suggestions, share them!!

Update!! Official dates for the Nashville trip are 8/13- 8/15!

Let's try to encourage our San Fran people to somehow, miraculously, make this trip too! Maybe we could have yard sales and donate some of the money for their tickets or room or something. It's summertime! Doesn't America like good ol' fashioned home made lemonade in the summer? They're selling it in front of Old Navy for three bucks!! LOL! And I'm being totally serious!!

Well, a bunch of us are going to get together, rent rooms and just hang out. Probably go out to eat, see some music and maybe even partay a little! You should come! Especially since you're probably really close anyway. We don't have exact info yet on the hotel or specific plans, Jamaica is looking into that for us! Hope you'll come!

Yeah Right. I think I could get a rental car from around the greyhound station? I could Actually drive myself... I need to beat that darn fear anyway. :) I would feel wierd being picked up at the bus station LOL.. In Knox, you can have a limo drop you at your hotel. That would be neat. It'd also be the least economic route huh? :) I'll look around on the net and stuff for information about drivin directions and such when we have more paperwork to go on. I am sure I can handle it. I went to Nashville a long time ago w/ my family to Opryland.... I mean, we were lost in a parking complex for hours but then again I'm not 10 anymore either. :)

So you live in Knoxville? You're very close to Gatlinburg and that makes me very jealous! Man, Gatlinburg would be an awesome phen trip! We could rent one of those big chalets! We went there in january and had a blast!

Yeah.. I got married in Gatlinburg and I go there all the time. There are a lot of fun things to do there. :) Nashville is great too! But better when they had Opryland open. :) I try to always go back to Gat on my anniversary. :) I don't live IN Knoxville, but that's where I go to the malls because it's very close. I love the Tanger Outlets and stuff at Gatlinburg too! They have Nautica outlets, Osh Kosh for my baby, Tommy Hilfiger (if ya like it), Ralph Lauren outlet, etc., etc. , etc. :) I bet Nashville has great shopping!!!!
