Airports SFO and OAK

Public Transportation : This is a typical schedule from the SFO Airport to Union Square, because it is only a weekend trip I assume luggage will be light enough to walk a few blocks in? To change the destination simply go to www.bart.gov (http://www.bart.gov)

http://www.bart.gov/stations/schedule.asp?origin=SFIA&format=quick&destination=POWEL&trip_mode=undefined&time_mode=departs&depart_month=7&depart_date=23&return_page=/index.asp&depart_time=8%3A00+AM&new=yes&dhtml=true

Main events possibilities:

I was thinking if we have a large group showing we don't all have to stick together but should have some MAIN things.. like Dinner Friday night and drinks, Sat we should get together again for dinner and drinks as well.. they have a Chevy's at Embarcadero Square which is actually pretty inexpensive good mexican food.. let me know what you guys think of that.

JAPAN CENTER

Japantown
Unlike the other ethnic enclaves of Chinatown , North Beach , and the Mission , the 5-acre Japan Center is under one roof. The three-block complex includes an 800-car public garage and three shops-filled buildings. Especially worthwhile are the Kintetsu and Kinokuniya buildings, where shops and showrooms sell electronics, tapes and records, jewelry, antique kimonos, tansu chests, paintings, colorful glazed dinnerware and teapots, and more. Home to more than 40 unique stores selling everything from rice paper to imported video games to handmade furniture.
Union Square shopping dist.

Union Square is the shopping hub in the City. Every major haute couture, jewelry and department store has a presence here, including Neiman-Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue , Macy's and Nordstrom.

Castro District
Castro and Market, San Francisco CA
Travel to San Francisco 's universally agreed Mecca of gay life in the Castro District. The affluent North side of Market is home to a predominantly gay and lesbian community, excellent bakeries, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and of course, gender bending bars. The famed Castro Theatre, the Castro's historic art deco movie palace, screens old and independent films from around the world. On Halloween, the center of San Francisco is the Castro, with crowds in the thousands celebrating in the streets.
