All of these are on the beach and each of these have pools. :)

I guess what we need to do is get a final count on everyone who is coming to Miami and then I can contact the hotel and make reservations. What I think I will do is go into each of the hotel's sites and check them out first and let you all know which one I think you will enjoy best!!

Talk to you later!

All of the places sound okay. I might lean a little towards Haddon Hall.

Hey all... just thought I'd add something... I stayed at the Seville Beach Hotel in 1999 and it was not a good experience to say the least. The pictures don't show the area of rooms where I stayed. There's the main building that has like, 10-12 floors (that's a guess), and then there's a part of the hotel with more rooms to the other side of the pool (two stories), which is where I stayed. It's a strange set-up. Anyhow, the room I had was absolutely disgusting. Dirty, really outdated and old, even smelly. I looked up the hotel online and the pictures that they shw are NOT like the room that I had. The part I was in was like a cheap, sleazy motel. By the pics, I am guessing that the main building rooms are different. I don't know why they stuck me in that really yucky part of the hotel. The goofiest thing is...I was a travel agent at the time. You'd think that they would have wanted to impress someone who can rent their rooms! Anyhow...just thought I'd tell you how gross it was there.

This might not make sense...BUT if you go to the website below, you will see the pool. Just behind the wide part of the pool you will see a grey roof that you can tell curves around. THAT'S the part of the hotel that I was in...a two floor section not in the main hotel. I can't emphasize just how yucky it was.

Well Seville is out for sure....

Go ahead and check out the rest and if we can come up with one then I can go there myself and check out the hotel & rooms and make sure they are nice & clean.

Question:
When? Where? How much? Is it too late? I need lots of info. Can anyone sum this miami trip up for me? If it's not too late, I might be able to go. Depends on how much and how long.

Holly the trip is at the end of June. Becky can give you the exact dates I forgot. And I am basically trying to find a hotel we will all enjoy within a decent price range. So far I believe there were about 10 to 13 people who wanted to go.

I hope to see you in Miami.

Hey, sorry to butt-insky...

I had friends that came down form Oregon and stayed at the Tudor. It's..well..okay. the location was good but the clientele was questionable. The room was a double and it was s-m-all. I think I remember a window unit AC too...

But then maybe it was a cheap room...

I am from South Florida and I have to ask, why did ya'll choose Miami?

I second that............what made one pick Miami? why not Palm Beach? Orlando? West Coast?......they're all soooo much nicer, in respect to area, things to do, and crime, than Miami..........Im from the West Coast originally, now reside out of the state.

I am not sure who picked Miami but I dont think Miami is bad at all. There are beautiful hotels there, on South Beach there are plenty of things to do, to see.

It doesnt matter to me where we go, I am just interested in meeting my phriends.

Becky, I think you did a great thing by setting this up!!

On one of the other posts someone was mentioning about airfairs...can't remember which...but thought I would add a suggestion...JetBlue flies out of JFK to Fort Lauderdale...which isn't to far from the area...NY to FLA 94 and return 114 for the dates selected (non-stop)
