PHENSTERS meeting in Miami this summer?

I've been talking to a few people who might be interested in meeting in Miami this summer. Is this something worth pursuing?? How many people would be interested in something like that?? I know I would love a vacation away from Wisconsin - by myself!!

One thought, though. This is just a thought. It might be fun to have total adult conversation and that might be hard to do with kids around. Also, just another thought. Wouldn't it be neat to get away without spouses so that when we see each other, we would be seeing our real 'on-line' personalities, with no inhibitions?? Of course spouses and children would be more than welcome, but you just might have more fun without them...

I really have no specific date in mind. Any suggestions? I'd just like to make it so that as many people as possible who were seriously considering going could go.... I've never organized anything like this so anyone who wants to take over, be my guest! I was just throwing out the idea :) I'll go post it in the phen events post now Jipi....

Maybe plan it during the off school season? So people can make arrangements for their kids and their selves a little easier? I really dont know, I just knew if I didnt take steven it would be easier for him to go to a friends or grandmas house if they didnt have to worry about running him to school and back. Hey Becky, I could be of help. Melmin resides a bit closer than I perhaps those of us close to Miami , could throw some suggestions on here and results would be better that way. What type of activity is each individual interested in? The atmosphere as far as what each person prefers..... the cost that each person would be willing to entail for activity, you have areas as South Beach, which is real 'ta-do', stars and wild partying, and then there is more quaint serene atmospheres. Everything from Comedy to Clubbing, and lots in between. Im more of a southern style person, yet can enjoy and bring life to any place. I say, everyone throw your suggestions in as far as the activities we'd all like to enjoy, and start there. Do we know the approximate 'season' we'll be looking into?

Well I think it was the consensus that it should be this summer - the sooner the better I say. Like June maybe?? I'm not picky as far as where we go, just as long as we can all stick together and have some fun.....I just hope we get a good turn out!!! And some more suggestions here guys!!!! (HINT HINT)

What a great idea! I would really love to meet many of you but this summer has been planned for almost a year :( . Celebrating 2 birthdays and going to Cali in June and actually will be in Florida July. So I'm out so please take a lot of pictures to share online.

I would love to go also, but I would have to travel with my three year old. Is this okay? Is there a set date so I can make plans, and how do we meet are we all to meet at the same hotel any idea what the expenses look like.I'm recently new and have not gone on a vacation in 9 years this sound like a fun idea. :rolleyes:

What about Coconut Grove area? I love Monty Traners. (bar/resturant on Bisquane(sp is wrong) Bay)

I'd like to add my name to the Phenter's meeting in Miami. What do I need to do next? I'll go back and read some of the previous posts.
I'm in Cleveland, Ohio right now freezing and gaining weight. I plan on returning to the S. Florida (WPB or Broward) area in a couple of months anyway.
