The only one that has ever really worked for me is eat less and exercise more.

The best diet is put yourself on a 1000 calorie diet and write down everything you eat.

I am not into the whole diet thing.... I just eat less and only give my body what it needs. I stay as close to 1200 calories as possible and drink tons of water. I know eat more fresh things than ever. Hardly ever have anything prepackaged or canned. I think the important part abotu changing your eating is making it something you can stick with and do not make it so restrictive you are always letting yourself down... make sure it works for you and your lifestyle...

try fitday.com they have a online food diary and uses a pie chart to see where all your calories are going. ie.. fat, carbs, etc...

My Dr. told me to use a 1200 calorie diet , drink water, and write down what I eat along with 1 hour of exercise daily. I wrote down everything I ate with the calories and I'm still not adding up to 1200 calories. I walk 3 miles on an inclined treadmill everyday. I Drink at least 64 oz of water daily sometimes more. I have been on Phentermine for 16 days & I have lost 8 lbs. Now I'm stuck and the scale won't budge. The good news is that I have lost about 1.5 inches from my butt, plus 1.5" from my belly, & 1" off of each leg! Yeah for me!!! Any ideas on how to get the EVIL SCALE to moving down again?

The best thing is to make sure you pick foods that your body needs and that aren't processed to death. think nothing white. whole grains, Fruits and Veggies, and Lean protein. I am absolutley in love with the kashi bars because they have tons protein and fiber in them. I eat eggs for breakfast every day-Scrambled with cooking spray instead of butter (fat free!) or boiled. If you eat cheese stick to the skim and low fat varieties. If you are going for lettuce pick the darkest varieties you can get (iceberg gives you nothing). Lean meats, chicken breasts and pork loins are my faves and so easy to cook. Fat free yogurt, and fruits are great snacks. And if you eat salads make sure you use fat free dressing!
