hi taills64! - I'm from texas as well! Great job on your weight loss so far! My tips are to make sure and drink plenty of water, try to burn more calories then what you have taken in for the day, and try to get at least 1000 -1200 calories a day. There are so many helpful posts throughout the forum of peoples tips and their routines for weight loss! keep up the great work! -kaco

Hey gals, I'm 6 wks. on phen & have lost 18 lbs. :gulp: . I drink lots of water & green tea. I eat fruit, granola bars & peanuts for snacks. I eat whole grain pasta & breads, meat(small portions). I eat low GI foods & have cut out sugar. I have salads often.

Hi Tami. I am new to this forum as well. I took phentermine about 6 years ago and lost about 30 lbs. in two months and kept it off until I had a baby last year. I have 20 or so lbs. to lose now and am trying to find an online site to purchase phentermine that will ship to Kentucky but having no luck. The weight loss docs in my area won't see me because they don't think that needing to lose 20 lbs. is enough to prescribe phentermine. Anyway, I had such great luck the first time that I am anxious to try again to get this baby weight off. To answer your question, the doctor I saw the first time 6 years ago told me to cut out as many carbs as possible- not to the point that you are counting how many are in a salad dressing, etc., but cutting out or cutting back on the obvious ones like sweets, potatoes, pasta, rice, breads, even cutting back on fruit intake, etc. This really worked for me! Good luck!
