Hi everyone,
My name is Cynthia. I just started Phen going on 2 weeks tomorrow. After 3 kids and years of insecurity I have decided that enough is enough. I am learning to say postive things about myself instead of negative. I am looking for some support and encouragement. My goal is to lose 55 lbs. My main problem is giving up after weeks of no results. I have been trying to stay away from the scale so I won't get discouraged if I haven't lost any weight. How often should I weigh myself?

HEY NENITA AND WELCOME BOO
I KNOW HOW THE INSECURITY THING FEELS BUT ALWAYS KNOW YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL BIG OR SMALL
I KNOW THE WORLD IS SOMETIMES UNFAIR AND SUPERFICIAL AND THAT MAKES IT HARD
BUT YOU TELL THEM TO EAT YOUR DUST BECAUSE YOU ARE LOVING YOURSELF MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY WHETHER THEY ARE HERE OR NOT
YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE THAT WEIGHT BABY BELIEVE ME
I HAVE LOST NEARLY 50 AND I HAVE 50 MORE TO GO SO YOU CAN DO IT AND WE WILL BE RIGHT HERE FOR YOU :heartpump:
WEIGH YOURSELF ONCE A WEEK AND IF THE SCALE DOESN'T MOVE MEASURE YOURSELF DONT GET DISCOURAGED
GOOD LUCK GIRL :heartpump:

Hi, just sending a note of encouragement! You guys are great and it really is helpful to read these though I haven't been posting much at all... pretty new here. I just wanted to share this about trying to stay positive, etc... The new year's of 2002 I decided forgo (sp?) the usual resolutions and decided to start loving my butt... lol.. that's right loving my own ***... ok sounds crazy but I mean I am going to have it for the rest of my life regardless of what shape it is... so I should just love it... I know how exactly do you that? Rather than look at it and compare it to some smaller shaplier etc... forget it... don't do that anymore... This doesn't mean I don't try to improve it though... I mean I will have my whole body for the rest of my life (hopefully) so I try to take care of it and accept it more... I am not so sure if this makes a ton of sense but hopefully someone, somewhere knows what I mean  ... ok off to the gym.. take care and smile and keep up the good work!

Hey Nenita...I just started Phen over a week ago and have decided to NOT weigh myself but once a week. I too have struggled with starting a weightloss program and have given up too soon. Especially when I was getting on the scale everyday and seeing that I've gained those 2lbs I thought I had lost the day before. But I now understand that it depends on what you have eaten or had to drink prior to weighing yourself. We can help support each other as I understand the battle myself..I'm trying to lose 80+. Take care
