Hi, i was wondering if any one is doing Atkins and using phen? My doctor put me on Adipax today and boy do i feel great. Drinking lots of water and ate a breadless hamburger for lunch? Please let me know? thanks

I am not really doing Atkins right now. But I do try to keep to the Somersizing plan (Suzanne Somers). Which is very similar to the Atkins program and is a great plan. But for me I like the Somerzing because I feel it promotes better vegtable and fruit intake. And great on the water and the breadless burger. If you need any food ideas I would be happy to help. I am 2 weeks into my Phen and have lost 12lbs. So lets keep up the good work. Good Day

Hi crystal,
I was wondering if you could give me some ideas of what you eat. i have not done near as good as you. I only lost 6 lbs in two weeks and its TOM and i am having some set back. I am drink the 64 ounces, but I am still doing something wrong. ;)

Hi everyone,
I am brand new to the site, and finding very helpful as well as inspiring.

I, too do a modified Atkins diet. I have for years. What my husband and I do is more of a low fat, low carb diet. Also we eat plenty of berries and veggies, which as a surprise to many atkins promotes!

here is my question, I am noticing SO many people with incredible weight loss weekly. I am not loosing anywhere close to this and I am wondering if it is just by body type, or am I doing something differently. My doc has had me on Phen for 4 weeks now, I am weighed every 2 weeks, both times I had lost 4.8 and 4.5 lbs. I am only 5'4, when I started out I was 206, now I am down to 196.7. I am pretty muscular, underneath it all! Considering my diet as I stated above, a lot of water and only some cardio, is anyone doing anything differently?

Would love your feedback!

Hello Crystal! Before starting Phen three weeks ago, I had been doing a protien diet very similar to the atkins...only very much stricter, and I lost 35 lbs starting after thanksgiving up til now. I only at very lean protien (such as white tuna, chicken breast, etc) and stopped eating four hours before going to bed, which is very important. I also did some sort of cardiovascular excersise for at least 20 mins a day (in my case I use the Gizzele Glider by TonY Little)But when I got on phen I was like wow! it took care of my carb cravings i had been having all those months. Now I find I'm not even tempted! And the weight is literally falling off, its allmost scary....so yes, I would definately recomend cutting carbs in attition to phen, it worked for me, so I beiieve in it. When I want weight loss advice, I go to someone I've seen with my own eyes lose weight, and ask them how they did it...thats how I came up with my lil protien plan...lol (I forgot to mention that on every saturday, I had what I call "cheat day" where I ate as many carbs as I wanted. It worked for me and enabled me to get in my lil ice-cream fix for the week...heh heh Good luck on your weight loss Crystal!
