Today was my eight week weigh-in.
I have literally been exercising my bootie off, eating well, resisting temptation and drinking lots of water.
21 pounds in 8 weeks! Quick, but not so quick that I won't be able to keep it off.
I feel great. More energy, more flexibility and more motivation to keep going.
8 little pounds more by New Years and 10 more by the end of March! Already more than half way there!
Good luck to everyone and I hope you have the same success I have. :D

Good for you!!!! Always glad when anyone is pressing ;) toward their goal and making such progress. Weighed in this morning myself. I have lost 5 pounds this week. I am feeling good and justloosing 10 pounds total so far I feel better in my clothes. I walk and climb stairs at work. So far I haven't started any other excercise. I have been watching what I eat. Smaller portions and haven't been doing hardly anything sweet at all. I'm not eating potatoes or bread very much either. I eat mostly chicken, tuna, salads, green beans, yogurt, fruit of some kind daily. I drink 90 oz. of water a day plus coffee for breakfast, and a diet pop and crackers for break at work. Main thing is I eat a little something atleast three times a day to keep the metabolisim pumping. Pressing for the goal! :spider_red:

Keep up the good work TLgreen, wedding in april and Fit. You are all doing very well. I'm still not on an excercise program. I really need to know what to do. I will have to start slow and work steady for a while until I get in better shape. Hang in there :)

tlgreene18. Hey I have been struggling here. I have no motivation to excersize. You look great. So wonderful. I look like your before pic right now and want your after picture soon. What did you do? How much excersize and what kinds? How often. WHat did you eat? Are you married? Did he help you? Tell me your story. I think you can motivate me. I don't want to pressure you but can you help me?
Anyone else have tips for a mother of two? I am a busy mom like most out there but I can't find the key. I eat pretty well. I splurge only once a week on pizza just to settle my cravings but need more help.
HHHHEEEELLLLPPP MMMEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Hey Jess. I read in another post htat you recently bought the firm tapes that is great!!! That is what I used along with riding my exercise bike every other day to get to where I am now. I am married but he is not very supportive of my efforts to loose weight :( My oldest son who is almost 13 is my greatest support along with everyone on here. Austin would make sure I wasn't drinking soda and not eat fast food. I didn't follow a diet. I just quit drinking dr pepper and eating fast food, and cut out white bread and potatoes. That cut alot of calories to enable me to loose weight. You do not have to go on a diet to loose weight, all you have to do is cut about 500 calories a day which 500 x 7 = 3,500 calories a week which also = 1 lb 3,500 calories is the equivalent to 1 lb of fat. Add daily exercise and you will easily loose 1-2 lbs a week and that is healthy weight loss. This is how I did it and sometimes I lost 3-4 lbs a week. You do not have to eliminate all your favorite foods in order to loose weight and if you do this you are more likely to fail anyway. I even ate pizza but smaller portions for example in stead of eating 3-4 slice I ate 1-2 slices. Also plan your exercise and do it first thing in the morning that way you have no excuses either. Go buy a few fitness magazines and look at the pics the girls look great and there are a couple of magazines that feature success stories and show before and after pics. I cut out this stuff and hang it all over the house on the fridge, my wallpaper on my computer, my bulletin board, on the dash board of my car, and this really helps to keep me focused. In the before pic I weighed 165 lbs the after pic 134 lbs. I currently weigh 135 and tryint to get to my goal of 125-129 lbs. I had one set back and gained back 10 lbs but now I am refocused almost back to where I was in August and I am going to do it! You can to if you need to talk or just have a few questions email me at tlgreene3@*********.com I will do whatever I can to help ;) Tammy

Hey thanks tlgreen18!! :) That puts a lot of things into perspective. Baby steps. Right? I didn't get fat overnight. It won't come off overnight either. You have to work hard for it. If you want it bad enough it will happen. Well i am pretty sure I want it bad enough this time. So tell me what an average day was for you. When you woke up you worked out right away? Then what? I have been TOTALLY honest with myself this pask 10 days or so. I still go to Mc donlads with my hubby for lunch but get a salad instead of fish with extra sauce. I still have my drink every night but use Diet Coke instead of regular Coke. I didn't eat any of my kids' mac-n-cheese this week. ( they eat it almost 4 times a week.) I think that is a pretty good start. You have to learn how to eat good. Right? Gotta go. Happy Holidays!!! :blabla: :blabla: ;) ;)

Hey Jess you are off to a great start. Keep up the good work. I basically try to get my exercise in first thing in the am, I have read that is how you burn more fat :spider_red: I drink ONLY water and watch my carb intake. I have mac & cheese just in moderation with something HIGH protein like a chicken breast. Let us know how you are doing, Tammy
