TL, you look gorgeous! Can you tell me how tall you are? I'm afraid that because I'm tall it will take a while for weight loss to show for me...:-(

November 19th, 2003, 01:38 PM
Hi alexis, I am 5'2.5" tall  I am a shorty. I dont think it really matters about your heght if you are eating a proper diet and exercising that includes cardio and strength training. I cannot stress enough on strength training. I weigh 138 now but I look about 10 lbs lighter :spider_red: because muscle weighs more than fat :heartpump: Tammy

Thought I would share with you guys some of the success I have had with using the Firm. I honestly wish I would have done this sooner becasue I have waisted alot of time experimenting with other stuff and not seeing the results that I was getting with the Firm! Anyway here it is. I wanted to share to hopefully get you guys motivated to keep going.
OK the first set of numbers were my measurements when I first started doing the Firm on May 1, 2003 and the second set of numbers are on August 24, 2003 Just 3 months later the - sign is how many actual inches/pounds I lost during this time frame(I hope this keeps you motivated):
Weight: 165 lbs 134 lbs -31 lbs
Size: 14 to a 6
Bust: 40" 34" -6"
Rib Cage: 35" 30" -5"

OhMiGod, it's the incredible shrinking woman. You look like a whole new person. I only took 1 before picture from the front because ain't no way I'm showing my rear. I think the front view gets the point across quite well. Anyway, you're a role model for everyone. Thanks for the motivation!

I know what you mean. It was not easy to take those pics but I am soooooo glad I did. I am really glad though I took the rearview shots though, because I think I see the most improvements on my back, rear, and thighs ;) I am not trying to be concieted but I just love how my back looks and I have to thank the Firm for that asset. I am going to post more pics after my b-day and no-one will probably recognize me because I have cut my hair off to a bob, but I have found my coral bikini that I wore in the first pic so to put any doubts to rest I will wear it. :blabla: Anyhow thanks and we want to see your before and afters real soon ok, Tammy

I have taken in only 1200 calories a day and my work out cannot go up any further.I am extremely strick with my food intake, drink lots of water. I am doing a hour of cardio a day and an hour twice a week with a trainer that kicks my butt.If I go up any further then I will be gaining more muscle than losing weight. Yes muscle burns more but I dont want to be bulky.I have been told by many that I should start the phen pro and let it kick the phentermine up again. Did anyone hit a plateau and what did you do?

Tammy you look great!!! Ive read your posts daily, and your such an inspiration. Im testing to see if my pics i posted here will work. The avatar was last year, i was actually a bit heavier then than i am now. The one at bottom of post is BEFORE i gained weight. I will find the befores and post them later.
Anyway, thanks alot Tammy, and do you believe that most of your success has come with the Firm tape? Or the combination of phen, water, eating habits and the Firm..? Are you doing any other tapes? Do you only exercise at home or belong to a strength training gym?
I am a member of Curves since 4-03 and lost 24 inches by 10-03. Ive slacked off since then as I am now earning my degree in Forensics and cant find the time to make it to the gym during their odd hours.

Did you still eat? And if so how much and what? I am new to phen I have the pills (37.5) but haven't started.

Stayingstrong

I ate around 1200-1500 calories a day. I basically gave up soda and started drinking the water. You have to eat to loose weight it you do not eat your body will go into starvation and your body will not burn the fat for fuel but your muscle for the protein, and you need muscle the more muscle you have the more fat/calories you burn even when you are asleep and if you loose muscle your metabolism sloooooows weigh down. I love my firm tapes but I also rode my exercise bike alot as well, but I think it was the combination of the firm tapes, exercise bike for cardio, and ALOT of water that helped me loose weight. If you have any other questions feel free to post or pm me anytime. Love to help if I can :heartpump: Tammy

TLGREENE: I love the before and after photos. They certainly inspire me - I gained weight after my baby was born. Not because of the pregnancy, but afterwards. That first 6 months, I was..........exhausted and just wanted to eat!
Thankyou for posting the photos. This is my first day on this site, and I just started taking phentermine. ....

jerzeegirll,I take the blue/clear 30 mg phen. This is what I was on in the begining and I lost all the weight. I thought maybie I could loose the last 10 or so pounds on my own, but no luck. So I went back on this time I took the 30 mg yellow and it didn't seem to work like the blue/clear  Confusing because they are suppose to have the same active ingredients, just made by different labs. So I went back to the blue/clear just recently and they are just like they were, thank goodness. Well I am off to a job interview, good luck :heartpump: Tammy

Stayingstrong
April 19th, 2004, 06:26 PM
Drink ALOT of water, exercise find something you really enjoy and makes YOU feel good and do it for at least 30 minutes a day. Eat at least 1200-1500 calories a day (eating to less is just as bad as not enough). As for motivation...see my avatar? Find stuff like that. Look through fitness magazines and find women who you would like your body resemble. Cut them out, tape them on the fridge, the dash of your car, your computer, and make you a journal and put them in there. I have one as a background on my computer too. Having that there is a GREAT reminder of what you are doing and I wont do it if I eat another Big Mac!! If you need anything please pm me, I wish you the best of luck ~Tammy
