Before and After Again - Especially for Newbies!

Okay - I've been coming to this board since April 2002. I have posted LOTS of before and after pictures...I just want you to know I am doing this for the newbies...not to get all the wonderful compliments from everyone (although it's all good - LOL)

My son and me in 1998 - Tony was 3 years old, I was about 210 lbs.

It's impossible to measure the motivation that before and after pics do for all of us. It's one thing when they try to show them to us on the television as a way for them to sell a commercial product....but when you all post them here for us to see and KNOW they're real...again, the good can't be measured...thanks! Hi! I am just starting Phen today and have noticed a big drop in my appetite. I have been reading about how some people are losing 10 pounds a week and want to know what else besides taking Phen are they doing? Eating different, exercising, or something else?? I hope to lose about 55 pounds. I am a medical transcriptionist, so I do sit at the computer the majority of the day and don't really exercise. Just wondering if someone can give me any advice.

You look fabulous. The pics really inspire me! I am a newbie. My husband passed away 5 years ago and my weight has flucuated so much, lowest weight being 110 now highest weight 174 and you know the old roller coaster every weight in between. I started phen 1-26, I would like to loose at least 30 lbs. I am engaged to a wonderful man that loves me very much. We are getting married this summer. Again you are an inspiration!!

I've cut out the sweets, especially Chocolate, decreased my carbs and my portions. My exercise is about the same. i.e. walk 1 1/2 miles per week and ride my horses 4 times a week.
Having trouble with the water intake. I can get 40 oz. done. How do you get 90 to 100 oz.? Couldn't you wash out your electrolytes? Thanks for the support. PJ

heidi225, which version of the pill you are taking...maybe you need the stronger dose...First of all hello to everyone...this is the first chat room of any kind that I have joined. I was doing research on Phen when I came across this site, and the before and after pics definately had a lot to do with my decision of ordering. What first got me considering it was when I found out my sister was taking it and she has already lost 17 lbs in 1 1/2 months. I saw on several sites that there are different versions of the pill and I made sure to order the same one my sister has which is the 37.5 white with blue spots. Wether or not that one works better or not I don't know but I felt a difference from an hour after I took it. I have been out of energy going on 2 years now...not doing things around the house, work or anywhere else the way I always have...well after starting 4 days ago, I feel like my old self..with the exception of today, I had so much energy that I did more yard work than I should have and got an AWFUL headache and threw up for an hour. So I will have to tell myself from now on when to stop...it goes the same for food...the past 4 days, I have had to make myself eat, and I pushed my plate away each time with food still on it...something I have'nt done in a long time...I cooked dinner without sampling everything...I have lost 5 lbs already...ofcourse mostly water...but just to see a difference on the scale is inspiration...sorry I did'nt mean to write an entire book.....I am going to be late for work so I will be getting back on here tomorrow. Hi Meredith... yes the being unable to sleep does pass normally in a week, if after 2 weeks it hasn't then try some 5-htp, others say it helps.

How did you get the ticker? I can't seem to add it to my signature. Well, you keep up the good work. Thanks for the site info, I will check it out when I am finished here. Your kids are beautiful too. It's so funny we we tell people who we are in pictures and say "I'm the big one." I was doing some scrapbooking and when I put some pictures in my album from Atlantic City in June 2005, I actually cut off my body. I was at 204 and I am 5'5" - this is what made me run to get some help and I started phen shortly afterwards. I think going to the doctor each week and having to get weighed has also made me stick to it this time. Every time I am on a diet I never tell my husband, but it's always funny how he wants to go out, get ice cream and wants me to bake all sorts of cakes. This time, I stuck to it and I plan to continue because I have had it with going up and down with my dieting.

I am off of work all summer long and now it's sort of scary getting ready to go back to work. Every meeting that teachers have always involve food but with the support from this forum - I am going to hang in there.
