Hey all!
I just wanted to know if anyone can give me some success stories of the Atkins diet? Today is day 5 for me and I have been going good and strong. I feel great, I'm not new to the "no bread" thing, I did it before for a few months, but I never did Atkins.
Can I hear some of your stories for support and motivation please? Or even some helpful tips?
Thanks in advance!

HI Star
I don't really have a sucess story,not yet,i still have a couple more pounds to go.But i do have a story.
I started phen at 168lbs it worked great for about 10 pounds and then it just stopped.SO i got stuck at 158 for a really lomg time, about 6 month. In January i decided to try atkins to see if i could get off of this stupid plateau. And it worked ,i got down to 144 lbs in about 2 month. Then i got stuck again!!! :(
But i was happy at 144lbs,i could have stayed there,no problem.Well then we moved, from Germany to the states and that's when my trouble started again :( .
Living in a hotel for two month did a number on me,and i gained my weight back, not in a week or two .It took a good month before i started to actually gain, and when i did gain,i gained it all back  .But that's okay i knew that it was going to happen. Now we have our house and i was ready to go back to low carb, and i know that this is going to be part of the rest of my live, and i'm okay with that.I find so many new things all the time that low carbing is getting easier every day.The longer you do it the easier it gets.there are so many great recipies, you just have to be willing to cook, and you'll find alternatives for everything.
You can do it girl, i love eating like this ,it just took time getting used too.
You wil get used to it too.
I feel so much better on low carb,I don't get headaches ,I don't get cravings, well once a month i do,and then i just allow myself to have a "legal" sweet. They have great low carb chocolate out there it might stall you for a day or two,but at least your not messing it up.
So excuse my crappy english, english ain't my first language,so you have to overlook all the typos. :D
Me and two other girls have a little low carb challenge going on why don't you stop by sometime, and we'll talk low carb ;) ,just trying to help.
Hope i helped any,elle

Hello Girlie, I'm still on atkins and I am still alive!!LOL It has been almost three months since I started the phen and the atkins. I have lost 20 pounds and have been stuck there for the last 2 or 3 weeks but I'm hoping to have lost some this last week because I have been working out harder! My advice is to research Atkins every(books, the internet, health food store, etc.) So many people wonder how I can stick to this meats and eggs diet and well It is so much more than that. There are recipe, candy, breads, pasta, and almost everything else low carb these days. Tonight I actually went to GNC and got some more of my favorite carbolite citrus sour candies and they had a free pamplet on Low Carb Lifestyles. Just like any other diet you have to make it more of a lifestyle than a diet and it will work. Well this is getting long so I will quit sharing my words of wisdom with you, but good luck and I hope to see you in the chat room tomorrow night (I haven't been there for a week or two I have been busy)
