I DRINK LOTS OF WATER NOW, I DONT DRINK SODA AND I WORK OUT 5 DAYS A WEEK. I HAVE GAINED A LOT OF MUSCLE TONE BUT MY THIGHS ARE MY PROBLEM AREA. NOTHING THAT I HAVE DONE OR TRIED MAKES THEM SMALLER. I HAVE BEEN DOING WEIGHT TRAINING BUT IT HAS MADE THEM BULKIER. DOES ANYONE THINK THAT IF I TRY THESE PILLS WITH NORMAL ROUTINE THAT I CAN LOOSE THESE 15 POUNDS AND THESE THIGHS??? HELP PLEASE

Hi!
It sounds like you are doing the right things with diet and exercise, can't say for sure what kind of success you'd have with phentermine on those last 15 lbs.
You probably know the closer you are to goal the slower the weight comes off.
Sorry I am not much help, but I didn't want you to feel like no one was listening.
Best wishes :)

Hi, I am new to this site also. I usually just read and don't post. There is a lot of experience here and I have learned a lot from reading all the posts. I just started using phen, but I am 75lbs overweight and it is working marvelously for me because I have a lot to lose. It sounds to me as though exercise is the only thing that will work for you since the area you wish to lose in is so specific. Good luck.

I am about the same weight as you - all I can tell you is, I took Phen for 4 days and lost 4 pounds. I haven't lost any weight since I stopped, nor have I gained any back. Have you talked to your dr?
Good Luck!

Honestly...based on the information you gave us, I don't think you will benefit from Phentermine. It sounds as though you already lead a very healthy, active lifestyle, and Phentermine will not 'spot reduce' fat from specific areas of your body. Try mixing up your exercise routine to challenge your body; you mentioned you don't like your thighs--Pilates works wonders on toning and sculpting the thigh area, especially the hard-to-tone inner thighs. Also, try a different eating program--you said that you don't consume soda, which is already fabulous, but you might want to look into a plan like Sugarbusters, which isn't a 'fad' diet, but is more focused on eliminating all sugars and certain carbs. I hope this helps...and please post if you have anymore questions!

Also, go to the bookstore and take a look at a book called "Escape Your Shape"; it's addresses the correct exercises for your body shape. For instance, those with an 'hourglass' shape are instructed NOT to use a stepper, run/walk on an incline, and weight train the thighs because such exercises simply bulk up the lower body. Amazon.com has extensive reader reviews of the book--give it a peak!
