Hi everyone I do not post reguarly, but I thought I would share my most recent achievement. I have lost 18 pounds in less then 4 weeks since I have started taking Phen. When I started taking Phen I weighed 165 and I now weigh 147 at 5 foot 2 inches. It is the most awesome feeling in the world.
My 13 year old daughter told me yesterday that my butt is getting smaller and that she can't wait for me to get to my goal weight (goal weight is 130) because then she can start borrowing the new clothes I will soon need to buy! Well you can imagine how good I felt hearing that from a 13 year old girl!!
I bowl with my oldest children on a bowling league on thursday nights. Well I noticed that my stretch pants (yuck!) were too big (yeah!), but I had to pull them up when I stood up and after I bowled (which became annoying, but I loved it!! lol). After about the fifth frame of bowling my 12 year old son told me mom you look skinnier!! Well I gave him a bigggggg huggggg and kissss and told him he was the greastest son in the world (well for obvious reasons!!). He was just like ok mom I am not kidding or lieing and had this look of confusion on his face. I just told him that I really appreciated the compliment and that it meant alot to me. To actually hear someone say they are seeing the results is awesome, and to hear it from teenagers well you know.. My kids and I are very close and I consider them my best friends.
OK I know everyone will probably want to hear what I do for diet and exercise. I have been basically keeping my calories between 1200-1500 calories a day. I try to purposely keep my calories low one day and higher the next, so my body does not get use to the same thing. I also bought the FIRM 4 pack at WALMART I think it was about $20.00. It has upper body, lower body (Standing Legs), abs, and Tough Tape II (its a workout for upper and lower body. They are great!! They are not easy, but I am seeing the results!!! I work 3 12 hour shifts Sunday, Monday, and Friday. So the days I work I get up an hour earlier and do my abs (between 6-9 minutes) and I ride my exercise bike for 35 minutes (about 14 miles). My days off Tuesday and Saturday I do the upper body, the lower body (standing legs)workout, and abs which takes about an hour to do then I ride my exercise bike for 45 minutes. Wednesdays I ride my exercise bike for 45 minutes and do a abs workout. Thursday I do the Tough Tape II (upper and lower body workout), an abs workout, and ride the exercise bike for about 45 minutes. I get bored very, very easy and this routine has been great!!! The exercise bike is great I love to push myself to see how far I can ride in 35-45 minutes, and I have it in my bedroom and I plan it around my favorite TV shows. The Abs workout I do everyday. The tape is called 5-day abs and there is a different abs workout for 5 days. When you finish the 5 days you start all over again. The ab tape only take about 6-9 minutes a day. I know what I my schedule is long, but I am seeing results!!! Sometimes I feel like god I really don't want to do this, but then I check to see my how much I am loosing and I am ready to go again! My days off I workout about 2 hours a day and the days I work about 45 minutes. At first I felt like I was over doing it, but now I feel great, and I have alot more energy. My tummy is getting flatter also.
I think the Phen has mainly helped to curve my appetite and cravings. I know longer drink soda and now drink 5-6 liters of water a day!! I also do not eat fast food. If I have a craving for a double cheeseburger, I now order a jr cheeseburger without the fries and coke and drink water and I am satisfied, instead of ordering the Super Sized Double Cheeseburger, Fries and Coke. I plan to buy a step machine when I do hit a plateu just to keep variety and keep my body guessing. I hope this has helped. There is no magic pill. I've heard alot of people who get upset and take Phen and do not see any results. I look at Phen as a learning tool on how to eat and exercise healthier not as a cure all. As a result I have lost 18 lbs and the week isn't over yet!! I know alot of people say I do not have time, because you know what that was my excuse for 11 years! I work full time, and I am in my last two semesters of undergraduate school and I carry a 16 credit hour course load with a 3.6 GPA, and I have three kids that play baseball, softball, bowl, and basketball along with school activities of choir, band, etc. If I can do it you can do it!!! You have to look at like this you are not getting any younger. I spent my 20's feeling fat and ugly, and I am going to spend my 30's (I turn 30 in January) feeling fit, thin, and healthy. I want to look sexy for my husband, and look professional at work (I plan to get my Masters Degree in Public Health and I just can't see myself in that field and being overweight), and be healthy to play with kids.
