Hi! I'm new too, and I've been eating a lot of sandwiches! My dietrician put me on a diabetes diet (although I do not have diabetes). I'm only 18, but I've pretty much helped raise my niece...and it might get a little stressful for you to be on a diet with a baby. You might want to look into visiting a dietrician and he/she could set up a diet according to what you like to eat, what your schedule consists of, etc. I can't stand salads, so I try to put a lot of lettuce on the sandwiches I make. Even without being on this diet, in my first week of taking phentermine I lost 6 pounds. Oh and there are some work out videos and classes that give you a work out while holding your baby! :) Good luck!

ok i screwed up a lil bit there lol - anyway heres what i was going to start off by saying - GOOD LUCK on losing weight and if you really think positive you will lose weight . First off , drink a ton of water - and i mean a ton - keep a big water bottle around and keep filling it up - sometimes when you think your hungry your not , your just thirsty. Water supresses your appetite, it speeds up your metabolism (especially very cold water bc your body burns calories by warming it up) , it flushes your system of toxins, it makes your skin look good , and so much more.
Well my first month on phen i lost 17 pounds so the best i can do for you is tell you what i ate. I would usually take my phen as soon as i woke up (because ur supposed to take it on an empty stomach) and by the time i was finished getting dressed i wasnt usually hungry but if i was i would eat a bowl of cereal (special k , cheerios, total, something on that order) with skim milk. For snaks try keeping fruit or vegetables around. Remember not too eat too much fruit because it does have sugar, also remember to try and eat fruits low in sugar like apples or berries. Bannanas for example have a lot of calories and really arent the best choice. For lunch eat a sandwhich with turkey or grilled chicken or eat tuna with low fat or no fat mayo. You can also put vinegar on the tuna . For dinner just try not to eat any carbs. Really try and not to eat too many carbs late at night. Also when eating any carbs try to make them the complex kind, like brown rice, wheat bread , sweet potato , things like that. Also try not to eat late at night because you dont burn it off and it just lays on you and turns into fat.
Of course in addition to all of this you have to come up with some kind of exercise routine. For me i have a treadmill in my house so i do a lot of cardio. I should do more weight training because that helps to speed up your metabolism.
Ok well i am no expert but this is the best advice i could give you and i hope it helps. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Also if you post in the "My experience with Phentermine" section youll probably get more responses because thats where most ofthe action is. Alright well once again good luck !

Oh yeah, that reminds me!! You should definately take a multi-vitamin! You won't be eating as much, so you have to get your vitamins from somewhere! I'm taking Flinstone's vitamins with Calcium, because we (girls) all need a lot of calcium, but milk is just too fatening! Keep us informed on your results

Hey, Good Luck on the weight loss. Like some of the other posts drink ALOT of water!!! I drink 5-6 liters of nothing but water all day. Water is so important to weight loss. I use to drink about 5 to 6 20 oz Dr. Peppers a day and now I drink none. That alone cut my calories ALOT!! They say for every soda diet or regular or juice you need to drink a 8 oz glass of water to compensate for it. Also try to eat 5-6 small meals instead of the 3 meals a day. It jumpstarts your metabolism. If you are on the go like I am I keep slim fast around. I get up at 4:00 am to exercise when I work and by the time I take a shower get ready and be out the door by 5:20 am to be at work by 6:00 doesn't leave me with alot of time to eat, so if I am running a little behind I will grab me a slim fast shake. I work at a mental health faculty so I keep a couple of those slimfast bars (choclate chip cookie dough is pretty good and lets me think I am cheaing a little especially when I am craving chocolate) for my snacks. I usually have a shake for breakfast at 5:50 am and I will break a slimfast bar in half have one half at 8:00 am and the other half at 10:00 am then I have lunch I will either eat what they are serving in the cafeteria or a slimfast shake. I will then do the same with my snack before dinner like I did in the am. Then I will eat dinner. Portion control is really important, and you need to eat. If you do not eat your metabolism will slow down also because of a lack of nutrients and you will not loose as much. Also start exercising if you haven't already. I try to exercise first thing in the am because if I wait till later well it usually doesn't happen. Aim for 20-10 minutes of cardio 3 times a week and some form of weight training 3 times a week, because the more muscle you have the more fat you will burn. I have been using the FIRM 4 pack tapes. I bought them at WALMART I think they were $20.00 and a couple of sets of dumbells. I have been on PHEN for 3.5 weeks and I have lost 17 pounds so far! the PHEN is awesome it has cut out cravings and I am not hungry all the time like I usually am when I am on a diet. If you have any questions  just pm me. Good Luck on your weight loss journey. ;) Tammy 165/158/130

the thing that helped me to lose weight and increase my water in the beginning was to earn my treats -
Stand by the sink and quickly drink three (big) glasses of lukwarm water (enters the body faster) then if you are still hungry go for it....
Also, I gave up Bread for Lent so that helped. No carbs almost at all
Dont forget to eat, you need food to lose weight or you will be in starvation mode and body will retain fat because it thinks you are dying of starvation. I ate a Special K bar (only 90 cal) for breakfast, a salad for dinner and lunch, or if I ate with the family I made my plate on a dessert plate (much smaller) and it helped to restrict my portions (before I started dieting i would eat after I was full because I was brought up to clean my plate) then I would wait 15 minutes before I would try to even think about eating again, so by then I was full....
Make yourself earn your treats, but dont cut them out, I love Cadbury eggs and they came out about the time I started my diet, so I would have one every couple of days as a treat for doing well the rest of the time....
Good luck dont get discouraged, and by the way it was about a week before the phen really hit me and I wasnt hungry all the time, so give the meds time to work and time for your tummy to shrink a little bit....
