Well, actually first week and a few days. I started taking phentermine 5/9/03. I have always been chunky my whole life! I've also always been active. In junior high I was in volleyball and conditioning all year round, but I could never lose weight. Also, in highschool I kept busy with being in the marching band and being in softball. I also went and played about 3 hours of dodgeball every weekend for the past two years, still no weight loss. I would always get toned, but never lose more than 10 pounds. I'm only eighteen and finally I decided to do something about myself. I guess the main reason why I want to lose weight is because I want to be able to wear the clothes that I want to wear. I am also planning on getting married to my boyfriend of three years sometime soon, and I want to look good for him! I went to my dietrician yesterday and she worked out a diet for me that I can live with. It's sort of hard, I have to completely alter my thoughts about food. Before I was thinking in fat grams and calories, but the diet she gave me deals with food that I like and are healthy for me. It deals a lot with a points system, but is nothing like weight watchers. I've lost seven pounds in my first week and a half, but I have yet to see the results based on how my clothes fit! My dietrician also suggested that I work out five times a week for more than 30 minutes at a time. Yikes, it will definately be hard work, but I'm determined. I was wondering if anyone else here is about my age? (remember, I'm 18, 19 in July)
