Phen and Xanax???????

I just started on my phen 2 days ago and forgot to ask the doctor about the interaction with my xanax. I only take half of a xanax (25mg) so my dose is very small. But I take the xanax just when I feel like I am getting ready to "nerve out". Anybody know about this combo? I think I will try to avoid combining this weekend until I can ask the doc on Monday..... or is it stupid to ask since she prescribed both for me? :rolleyes:

I take Adipex 37.5 (1 Tab)7AM to 8AM and Xanax .25mg (1 Tab) at night. I have taken this combo for several years and have no problems. I was originally taking Xanax .5mg but it made me really tired during the day even with the Phen so I cut the dosage in half. It is always best to check with your doctor anyway because everyone is different.

Thank you Weighless. I figured my doc knew what she was doing when she let me loose with these two drugs but I guess I just wanted some reassurance. So I do thank you for sharing with me. :D

I am on Apidex 37.5 tablet. I also take Xanax .25 when needed, sometimes a whole pill or sometimes just a half. I've had no problems.

Thanks for the info! I live in Statesboro, Ga. I am a few hours north of you. And my goal weight is the same as yours too. Small world, huh? ;)

It's a slow process, but I am determined to get there. Not having a good week this week for some reason. I have gained a pound, but not really doing anything differently.

My brother lives in Georgia also, in Acworth, which is about an hour north of Atlanta.
