Bontril and Phen

Hi,
Is anyone on Bontril and Phen? If so let me know how you're doing. My Dr. prescribed it to me last month but I haven't heard of anyone else on it

Hello Kim,
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I have been on vacation and got back yesterday. Since I've been on Bontril and Phen I've lost a total of 25lbs. :D I started taken them both on 2/18/02. The last time I was weighed was today at the Dr's office (I don't weigh myself or else it will drive me crazy)I see my Dr. every month and that is how I monitor my weight loss. At the same time I am counting fat gms. The Dr. gave me a little book with the total fat gms of all kinds of foods, And I am suppose to only eat 20gms of fat a day. At first I thought I would starve to death but, if you eat the right foods it can be very filling. You can eat as many veggies and fruit as you like. I take Bontril (35mg) in the morning and Phen (30mg) one hour before each meal (3 meals a day). So far so good. :) I hope this answered your question. I'm sorry. I gave you the wrong information. I take Phen (30mg)in the morning and Bontril (35mg) 3 times a day. Sorry about that. :o

I started Bontril SR 3 weeks ago and so far am losing roughly 3 lbs a week. What does the phentermine add to the mix?

I don't get to this board very often! Sorry it took so long to get back to you too! :D

I always wonder about taking more than just Phen. In case my Phen starts wearing off. It's nice to know a few things about certain drugs and how people are doing on them. In case I need to go back to my Doctor for help! Thanks so much for letting me know! :D
