Hi I have high blood pressure. I am on Diovan 160mg and cartiazem 240mg. I was on 180mg of cartiazem then i found that my pressure was up slightly while on phen so my doc up me to 240 and it is fine now. I started phen on 2/5/02 weighing 236 on 3/5/02 I'm at 305. So you can take phen as long as your blood pressure is controlled. My doc said it was ok, because losing the weight will help b/p anyway. :p

hi i am taking 15mg phentermine and 25mg atenalol. I did not tell my slimming doctor that I was taking this incase he would not prescribe...naughty i know but desparation brings out the worst in me... but before i took the combo, i called me local pharmacy and asked if there was any danger/interaction in taking them together and he said no. He was not sure if one might cancel the other out. The atenalol is not being cancelled out as my blood pressure is good, but I am not sure that the phen is working. Appetite is slightly reduced I guess, but definately not as I expected. Call your pharmacy and ask about the pills that you are taking, they are very helpful. pammie xxx

Hi. my name is Lisa and I have been on Diovan for three years 160 mg. I take 37.5 mg of Phen without any problems, just need to keep a eye on it and make sure your blood pressure stays under control. You might need to up your Diovan if your blood pressure goes up. Good luck
