confused about wellbutrin

Does anyone out there actually know if it safe to take wellbutrin with phentermine? I have read through the board and the answers seem pretty mixed. I just started both and my Dr said it was fine. Is there anyone with any expierence out there? I am so confused now and under the impession that wellbutrin is niether a SSRI or MAOI.

Hello.....I was taking wellbutrin with phentermine and I don't know about you, but my face was tingly and it was too much stimulation...I felt like I was jumping out of my skin...the only suggestion that I have is take the wellbutrin right before you go to bed...it didn't keep me up anymore than normal and by that time the phen was mostly out of my system.
