Phentermine doesn't curb appetite

:confused: I take 30mg of phentermine in the morning about 1-2 hrs either before I eat something or after. It doesn't seem to curb my appetite. What could I be doing wrong. The only thing it does is help me wake up in the mornings and keeps me there for about 8 hrs. It never did curb my appetite.

Hmm.. not sure how to help you.. other than tell you what I do. When I get up I have a cup ot tea with regular sugar with my pill(same ** as you) and I drink lots of water. LOTS OF WATER!! And that seems to keep me from eating. I don't really get hungry until about 4pm and I try to keep dinner simple. I do get the urge to eat a lot at that time, but I try to remember that it takes time for my stomach to know it's full. I just started last wednesday and have only lost a pound. I need to stay away from eating out; but then that's what we do on the weekends. But I know I have been eating less taking phen. I hope this helps in some way let me know.. Don't give up!! Mendy :D

Thanks Mendy for the support and the info. I think I will start drinking more water. I have read other messages and they say alot of water. I will try it. Don't you give up either. I will try to keep tabs on you. ;)

Hello chindon and all-
I've still felt kind of hungry (stomach growling) but have no desire to eat. I'm normally an emotional and carbo eater so this is a big improvement. I've been eating a lot less and being careful about what I eat. Also this dries out my mouth so much that I'm drinking a ton of water. (it keeps the side effect of constipation away also) Good luck and keep at it.

I just started taking Phen a couple weeks ago. Although it does help me to be more alert and less tired, it doesn't curb my urge for sweets. I am diabetic, and I really need to stay off the sweets. Any suggestions?
Also, I am trying to get into the chat room, but it either says that I am forbidden to go there, or that my computer is having difficulty getting to the DiGi server. Now what?

Sorry to say it only worked for a few weeks fo me. When it worked tho it worked great..I am too chicken to double the dose now. I even stop taking it for a few days and it just doesn't work like it did in the bginning :(

Today is my first day taking it. I take 30mg also. It has not curved my appetite either and I've been VERY haungry! I am trying to eat well and I've drank a LOT of water which is important because your blood pressure can shoot up. I think I am going to take BOdy Solutions with it. Has anyone tried that?
