Phen and Xenical together?

Im on a mission..and that mission is to lose the weight i gained after having 3 babies..lol. I am presently on the phentermine and was wondering if i can take Xenical at the same time? Not to be graphic but Xenical is the pill that doesnt let the body absorb fat and makes a oily poop? Sorry. Just want to know if Im calling this pill the right name. Any info would be appreciated. Hi ikee. I am on a mission also. I have also had 3 babies and i am trying too loose the weight i have gained. I take Zenical and phen. I do not have any problems doing both. But some people are different. I want too loose this weight one way or another. I have been on phen since the first week in may, and have lost 14 pounds. sometimes i foreget too take the zenical. It only works if you eat food with fat in it. If I eat something with not fat, then I don't take the zencial. It takes about 5 to 7 days for it too get in your system. Good question! I also would like to lose the weight I've accumulated since having three babies (although my babies are now 16, 17, and 19!). Actually, it's only been the last 7 years that I've gained the weight. I was a size six until I got on that darn depo provera, which made me gain weight overnight and I have never been able to get it off, and in fact, have added another 25 pounds!

I have been researching the xenical and phentermine combination, and I think I would like to take it. The cost for a doctor visit here is $50, but then I can get a month's prescription at a time for any diet medication I want.

I too gained a ton of weight from that darn depo-provera shot. As soon as I got off it I got pregnant with my first baby. She is two now and I am trying to get the weight off from the depo-provera and from the baby. My doctor prescribed me both Xenical and Phentermine to try out. I haven't had any problems at all. In fact, I went to the doctor last week and I have lost 27 lbs since he gave me the prescription 7 weeks ago. It is a process but I am doing it. I think that the Xenical is great, especially if you are going to eat a meal that is higher in fat content.

So do you only take the Xenical before a meal high in fat or do you take it every morning like the Phen? What dosage of Xenical is usually used?

Hi Colesmom you take the zenical before each meal. three times a day. depending on if the meal contains alot of fat. or if you eat 3 meals a day. my perscription is 120 mg's. I usually don't eat 3 meals a day. especially since I am taking phen. I don't have any side effects.

TaylorGrace - thank you for giving me hope! I am a former depo user, also, and gained more than 60 pounds. I haven't been able to lose it since I've been off depo over 7 years ago...and I've tried everything including working out steadily and all the diets! I still workout, but my goodness, I'm blue in the face from it with no results. It's not muscle, either. It's definitely fat! UGH. Well, I finally ordered the phentermine, and I'm excitedly awaiting its arrival. I will continue working out and hopefully get results from it. I'm also taking enzymes. Thanks for the hope!
