I found this to be very interesting, thought I would share!

For years, we've been told raw veggies are better for us than cooked ones. Well,
more recent research suggests that the body may absorb as much as FIVE TIMES the
amount of disease-fighting antioxidants from cooked or mashed veggies than from
raw ones. Cooking or mashing breaks down the plant cell walls making the
antioxidant vitamins easier for the body to absorb. Whichever you decide to
believe, just getting any type of fruits and vegetables will be beneficial.

Your're welcome, I'm sure. Oh, by the way is a "Tidbit" a fruit or a vegetable? LOL.

Missus is such a nice lady to have around Phenland. Well I heard about carrot - it is always best when cooked so drinking carrot juice is a bit of "wastage".

Well this is good news cos I never like raw vegies... :)

Yes and carrots are also "great" for your vision, so you can read the fine print. Thanks for responding.

I guess fruits and vegetable are good no matter how we eat them. I love my vegetables, yummy. In fact I am one to eat my veggies first then maybe if I'm still hungry eat the meat. Thanks for the info, definately interesting.

Michelle: Hey, great idea, eat veggies first, then if you're still hungry, eat the meat. Good tip for all, but if you're in a certain habit, sometimes it's hard to break. Get my drift?

Some more info on veggies, I thought this was interesting.

Contrary to common misperception, frozen vegetables are healthy. So, stock up
and you'll always have nutritious veggies within reach.

You just taught me a new word, "re-affirmed". And great vision is good, keeps you from bumping into things. LOL.

You're welcome I'm sure. Oh, did you eat both fruit at work today? Just wondering. And how about the dizzy spells, okay with that??
