A friend gave me this advice, I would like to share.

Unconscious eating tends to lead to increased calorie consumption. Set time
aside to eat your meals without watching the television, working on the
computer, or reading a paper. This way you will savor and appreciate your foods,
and also know when you have reached a healthy level of satiety - meaning you
stop eating before you are stuffed.

Hi Babydoll2:

Yeah I know about that, but "Italian Food" is so good isn't it? Now Chinese food is another story, eat now, and 1/2 hr later, you're hungry. Next time you go out to dinner, drink plenty of water with your meal, and I think you will find you'll eat less. The liquid tends to quench your thrist as well as your appetite.
