i know that when you are on no carb diets..your not allowed to eat carrots, and that carrots contain more sugar than any other vegetable..and if you eat too many carrots it can cause your skin to turn yellow! But carrots are really good for you.it has something in it that turns into vitamin A.which is good. Hope that helped..

You can eat carrots. The name of the game isn't finding the right carbs vs the wrong ones. its very simple: straight caloric deficit. You can eat whatever you want as long as you're consuming less calories than you're burning everyday. and yes, carrots can turn your skin yellow. Thats probably a larger deterrent than sugar levels.

I agree with jp, as long as you are counting the calories of the carrots ( if that is the diet you are on) you should be fine. I love cooked carrots!
