Hello ... I know I am going to sound a bit stupid with this question ... but ... When you all say "Phen" ... is that just Phentermine in a shortened slang form? Or is it something else all together? And why is it under the heading of "Phen-Fen?" Didn't they take Phen-Fen off the market?
I would like to order some ... but I sure don't want to pay that price if it does not work ... one gal on here said that she has been on it for 3 weeks and hasn't lost a single pound. Can anyone answer these questions for me?

Hi SharronE,
Yes Phen is short for phentermine. They took fenfluramine the other half of the phen/fen combo off the market. All people have different reactions to the drug. I myself love it because it keeps me from bingeing. Some people don't like the side-effects others don't have any side-effects. It all just depends on how your body ajust. :)

Well I paid the price and am glad I did!!! After my second child I never got back down to where I needed to be ~ after my third was 7 months old and I couldn't get below 170 lbs or a size 12(5~3 is a little short for that). I ordered a 90 day supply before thanksgiving and over the holidays lost 25 lbs! I'm at -30 total and very confortable in loose fitting 8's! I honestly save more than $3 a day on food! It took ALL of my desire! I could eat a whole bag of Oreos before. Now if I have one and it doesn't taste as good as I think it should ~ I just walk away! I hate to admit it, but I did no extra exercise during this time and I do eat whatever I want ~ I just usually don't want! Let me know if you find a deal better than $3 per pill! Good luck!

Thankyou all for letting me know your input on my question! I went to the doctor and got a prescription for Phentermine ... he only would give me an ** for 3 months ... I have been on them for a month now and I have not lost a single pound! I am so depressed about it! I eat only 1 meal a day anyway ... always have ... but nothing is working for me ... I think I need a stronger pill. I believe the blue ones I have are not the strongest???

i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you need to eat more during the day. i was doing the same thing you are by not eating during the day and didn't lose any weight. i finally went to the doc the other day to get meds and he told me that i needed nutrition...aka FOOD. but the trick is to eat healthy foods, like fruits and veggies, and exercise!!! in a week and a half (without being on meds yet) i lost six pounds watching what i eat and walking. i start the meds tomorrow...good luck to you!
