I have been on phen for 15 days, i am on the adipex-p 37.5mg i take one every morning. I have been doing great, except i have to make my self eat. The biggest side effect is i feel like i am high for a couple of hours out of the day. Well not really high just really easy to space out alot. Some times i am more irrataded than some. and my nose itches alot, it feels like some thing is crawing around in it. People just keep saying that someone is thinking about me. i am also really restless, and the bad thing is, is that i was that way before i started this and now its worse. i also get dizzy when i stand up if i have been sitting for awhile, and almost all the time my vision is blurry. If anyone has any suggestions i would really like to hear them. i work the night shift at a hospital three nights a week, and stay home during the day to take care of my 2 year old daughter. I am a singe mom and cant afford daycare. So there are days i dont get sleep for over 36hrs, and i am sure that doesn't help this. i thought about splitting the pills in half on the night i work but i didn't knw if i could take a whole one the next day if i didn't have to work the next night. Well anyways let me know what you think. Thanks Rebecca

I take half in the morning and half at lunch, so whatever time is morning and lunch on your schedule try that.

Well, one thing I can tell you is that the blurry vision I have. I can not read anything close up since starting the Phen. I have to carry reader glasses everywhere I go or I am screwed!

Have you had your blood pressure checked? The symptoms you mentioned are associated with blood pressure changes. Some red flags of high BP is blurred vision and headaches also. But I believe dizziness is (I'm a brand new RN, still not yet even working)associated with low BP.

But I would think that you should check your BP on one of those dynamaps they have at most hospitals, especially when you're having these symptoms, check it sitting and lying if possible, and in both arms, to compare readings.

Another thing, if the BP is ok, you may need a multivitamin supplement, with iron. I had low iron, and it made me really tired, then I would get really dizzy like you..

Have you checked into getting help with day care from your local Department of Social Services/ or equivalent? I did that all through nursing school. They base it on your income, you have to pay like 10% of your income here, I believe, I don't know, mine was free while in school.

Hope this helps! You gotta take care of yourself!

I have checked my bp quite abit, since i work at a hospital. Although i have checked it during the day. We dont have daycare in are town, well we do have a girl but she does drugs and theres no way i am taking my daughter there. I would go with out sleep for years before i would do that. I think i have worked my schudule out so that i work more on weekends so my parents and her dad can watch her. Anyways have you herd of the apple detox diet?
