Although I've really cut back on my drinking, I'm going to an event tonight free wine (woot woot) and would like to have a glass or two... Is it safe to mix?

I have been on it for 3 weeks and I had a glass of wine last night. It didn't affect me at all meaning I wasn't intoxicated. I don't each much and was really surprised. I'm also watching my bp and my heart wasn't racing.
I'm unsure of your medical condition, but I'd only do a small glass and see how you feel.

Thanks. I did start with a small glass and monitored myself. It was a work event and the last thing I wanted was to be out of it! I had a few more small glasses and it went well. While I am healthy, I am also paranoid about mixing alcohol with anything. I had a really bad experience a few years ago. After doing some reading, it was suggested that alcohol consumption be kept to a minimum, so that's what I'll do.
