I have FINALLY dropped my first 20lbs! It has taken me 3.5 long months, but nonetheless, it feels good!! I admit I haven't been as strict and disciplined as I probably should have...but it's been a "real" journey. Sometimes I eat things that I shouldn't, some weeks I don't exercise as often as I should...but I am definitely committed to my new lifestyle!
I can't wait to drop the next 10lbs, so I can be in onderland!
Here goes!

Due to bad knees and back (I'm 54) I don't exercise. I walk my dog religiously every day, if you can call walking ten steps and stopping to sniff repeatedly to be really walking. LOL I'm going to lose the fat, hope my back and knees feel better without the extra weight, THEN start toning if they do. If not, I will think of something to do that won't hurt me. I need so BAD to tone the backs of my arms. OMG, they look like loose chicken skin and it's AWFUL. I'm so embarrassed by them. And summer is soon here, short sleeves, tank tops...... I have loose skin around my tummy from carrying twins 24 years ago, too. I think surgery is my only option for that, but situps will strengthen the muscles underneath, so I will start that, too. I'm very stubborn; when I get near my goal, I will WILL WILL persevere. My magic number is 130 fully clothed. I'm not stopping until I get there. I've made it this far, and I can keep going. I'm worth the effort and I'm worth the result. I'm awesome and getting more awesome every day. SO ARE YOU. Push through it. Time flies. Keep doing what you are doing and it will happen before you even realize it. I have passed up sooooo many invitations to nice meals because I am NOT going to risk messing up my progress. Be strong, stick with it, check your mirror, and tell yourself you are worth it...........
