As for damaging your heart. I think if you are a healthy female with no prior cardiac problems and only used this about 3 weeks then the odds of you doing permanent damage to you heart is slim however I gotta scratch my head here and wonder what Cardiologist would put you on this? No matter how much weight you had to lose.

I would speak to my doctor about the symptoms that your having. Ativan and Klonopin are some heavy Benzo's to be on if you needed them to control the anxiety then a drug that can have a side effect of exacerbating those symptoms should have NEVER been used.

Increase your water intake, get plenty of rest and make sure your eating a very healthy diet. No alcohol. Make sure your taking a good Multi vitamin with B complex. (I WOULD SPEAK TO A DOCTOR PRIOR TO ADDING IN B12)The unpleasant side effects should pass within a couple of weeks. The drug alters Serotonin levels and it can take a bit of time for them to return to normal.

Within the medical community there are arguments as to what defines addictions. Some believe that any time a drug is stopped and withdrawal symptoms appear there was an addiction.

Like I said. I'm not a Doctor this is only my opinion and I feel the best advice is to express the symptoms to your doctor and follow his/her advice.
