Our new insurance doesn't kick in for another month, but I do think my doctor accepts insurance for at least the initial and any follow up lab work.
I pay out the nose because at least here in So. FL I could not find any regular doctor willing to prescribe phentermine. I searched for 3 months and finally decided to go to a weight loss center. I pay approx. $150 mo. for my office visits, weekly b-12 shots and 37.5 mg phentermine which is dispensed at the doctor's office.
I know some people on this forum pay much less than this at weight loss centers and I guess it all depends on which area of the country you live in....everything in S. FL is expensive! I just moved here 6 mo. ago and so far all I can say about it is that it's a great place to visit but......
With it being so expensive for me I am motivated more than ever to be as successful as I can with it since I can't afford to not work really hard at it. I will probably do it for 3 months and take a month off, and if necessary go back on until I reach my goal of 132.
I have to take into consideration that I am saving money each week since I am buying healthy food in lower quantities, eating out less often, and not buying soda or junk food. My health is worth it and fortunately my husband totally supports me in this.
