Just started Meridia too.
I just started Meridia a week ago and I have lost six pounds already. I started exercising again for the last two days with cardio at home with my aerobic step.
It feels good to have more control. I read that working out helps you lose more and that's what I plan to do. I'm so tired of being the answer to the dieter's prayer. "Dear Lord, if I can't be thin than please let my friends be fatter then me."
Currently I am 199 pounds. When I got married 17 years ago I weighed 125 pounds and looked rather nice at my height of 5 ft 6 inches. :)
So, I would like to get down to 135 pounds at least. I don't know how long it will take but I am willing to be patient. I want to be and feel healthier too.:)
I have to snap some before photos so I'll have something to compare to the afters.:)
Everyone keep up the great work. It takes commitment no matter what route you choose to take.
The Meridia is more expensive then the Phentermine. I live in Hattiesburg, MS and I paid $111.00 for a month's prescription with a MS insurance card that anyone can get online. Also, on the Meridia website you can print out a one time coupon for one refill of Meridia with $25.00 off. I will do that next month.
I went to a doctor who prescribed me Phentermine and also Meridia. I had one month of the Phentermine and three months of the Meridia and then for some reason the doctor could not prescribe diet drugs anymore in the state of MS. He has since replaced himself with another doctor to service his patient's but I am going to wait until I go through all three of my refills for the Meridia.
I haven't had any side effects and I feel good so I'll keep taking it. I'll also post my experiences on Meridia as well. I've read that some people feel that Meridia works as an anti-depressant too.
