Hey!

Thanks for responding. I thought I was the only night shifter out there! I just went to 60 hours a pay period trying to work on the weekends to be home with my boys, AND have time to work out. Before I worked 4 nights a week, and just couldn't work out cause I was too tired. Took a pay cut, but it is worth it. Someone who is a fitness buff told me, that every little bit counts. If you walk 2 days a week, it's 2 more days than no days at all. It took me awhile to accept this cause in my head you have to be on the treadmill or something for at least 30 minutes and be drenched with sweat afterwards.

When it's not too cold, I walk to school to get my boys. It's 10 min each way. A few slow incline hills so my thighs are burnin' a little. 24 hour shifts are hard. My 12 are stressful I can't imagine. Can you work out on your days off? If your working out involves weights, that might be why you are gaining ( muscles you know?) Also, what about your diet? I know it's hard especially while working to eat right cause you don't have a microwave in the ambo, but maybe you could try eating at times that aren't late at night or eat smaller meals ( meaning snacks mostly) throughout the night. This might be possible with the phentermine on board.

Our lives are so different from others. Our metabolisms are probably slower cause of the night work. We have to work harder. Let me know what you think!
