Default eating habits
My eating habits changed when I found out I was diabetic. I was put on watching my carbs. I have to eat a certain amount of carbs for my 6 meals, or my insulin works against me. Go figure, if I don't eat enough, my weight goes up.

I am supposed to eat 2-3 carbs for breakfast, 4-5 carbs for lunch and dinner, and 1-2 carbs for three snacks.

Prior to the phen, I tried weight watchers, which is pretty similar, a carb and a point, are pretty much the same. Not much success.

I would eat a bacon and egg sandwich on wheat toast for breakfast, and a low sodium V8 juice. Then about 2 hours later, I would have a granola bar. Then for lunch, I usually brought from home a cup of a casserole that I made the night before. Then for afternoon snack, either popcorn or pretzels. For dinner, I just ate smaller portions of whatever I made for dinner. Then I would skip my evening snack. I wasn't hungry.

I think part of my problem, was sometimes when I came home from work, I felt famished, and would snack while I cooked (I know, very bad habit).

My new problem arose, when I switched jobs. I went from sitting at a desk for 8-10 hours a day, to sitting at a desk 3 hours a day, and driving a truck 6 hours a day. This really put a kink in my habits.

I am adjusting, still, and trying to figure out easier, better ones, because the 6 meals a day, is not very easy when you are driving a truck, and not able to eat.

Again, any helpful hints would be appreciated.
