I turned into a pirate last night. Seriously, I got up this morning with my left eye swollen shut thanks to a stye on the outside edge of my upper lid. It started coming on Saturday night at the hospital, yesterday was bad, and today is just crazy. So if anyone needs to talk to me today, I'm going to ask them to speak directly to my stye, since that's really all they'll be looking at anyway.
I can go to the doctor, but they usually just go away on their own after a couple days. Ugh. It's just until it goes away I'm gonna look like hell. Glasses, no makeup. I'm getting all Ugly Betty over here. Perhaps I could call my orthodontist and have him put my braces back on just for a couple days.

btw, Uncle Bill is doing better. He's off the ICU floor into a regular room, he's talking more, but we are still wondering about his eye sight. He seems to be completely blind most of the time. Every now and then he can focus in on something but other than that he doesn't seem to be able to see at all. The doctor thinks that's from the toxins in his blood from faulty kidneys and that his vision will come back. We'll see...
