I cut out sugar, soda's and everything is low in carbs and calories, also whole grain. Of course I want my pounds to come off over night but we know thats not going to happen,so I decided I'm going to look into taking phentermine because my aunt took it and lost alot of weight. Only thing is I was reading some of the post and some people were complaining it wasn't taking their appetite away and some complained it did so much they didn't eat. I love food, and I have no problems eating healthy anymore so I want to be able to eat. So I'm kinda confused on what to do. I want it to help me but I want to still eat because I know I need to because my body needs it. Soooo my question is if I start the phentermine, will it hurt me because I still plan on eating regular healthy meals?? And will it not work because I'm eating regular?
Thanks

Dear Rhonda, My Dr. gave me phentermine about 3 years ago because I'm 5'2 and weighed 183! (Afternoon weigh in, so give me a break!) Anyway, it really, really worked for me I lost 50 lbs. It over a year, but I did it. I really had no bad side effects with phentermine, and I think it's a very good diet pill. While losing my Dr. (whom I totally trust) saw me once a month. He said a person can over ride any diet med., but it was me and my desire to lose weight that did it. Yeah, I was hungry alot, but I saw I was losing about 5lbs. a week at first; what a great motivator that was for me! Anyway, phentermine gets my vote as a diet pill that does work. Emily Gale
