You know when I first started taking phen i was on 30 mg. I didnt have the burning throat but i did have shortness of breath, palpitations, and chest tightening. my blood pressure had went up to 139/89 so my dr. put me on the 15 mg. and i did fine with that. my blood pressure went down and all my symptoms went away. hope this helps. good luck
