Default Didn't run today
I'm mad that I missed my run....we have our living room furniture delivered at 9 (back from the re-upholstery place)..and spent the hour or so before that cleaning and moving stuff around to get the couch through. It doesn't fit through the front door and has to come thru the back, etc. Then I came to work. And it's much warmer today; mid to upper 40's, it would have been great. Oh well.

I'm wearing those new Ann Taylor pants today with a "smart blouse" as mom would say. I figured it's my last chance before Mandatory Bulky Sweater season is upon us.

Oh, Gonnasail and Twinzy, the ongoing debate of the petite vs. the tall. My friend Jill (5 ft even) used to have this argument constantly. My points: 1. They TRY to cater to you, even if they fail. Even if the petite cuts are still too long, sometimes they work - at least they are giving you the impression that you are welcome in their store by acknowledging you exist. 2. While hemming is expensive, it's an option Talls don't have. You can't ADD length. If it's too short, you are SOL. I'd give anything to walk into a store, touch the fabric, try it on, hold the color up to my skin, etc and just have to get it hemmed. Hey - I just thought of it too, we are even on hemming vs. shipping costs.

Oh the grass always looks greener, doesn't it, lol. Gonnasail, your hell of not seeing through a crowd, reaching shelves, is my always feeling awkward and unfeminine, always a kid stuck in the back row, paired up with other girls at dance lessons as they reserved the smaller ratio of boys for the shorter girls "cause it made sense," being nicknamed Flood because of my not-even-hitting-the-ankle pants, etc. Tall women get jealous of short women because they always look cute and are never called Sir. Here's something else crazy to make you laugh: we get secretly mad when you date and marry men over 6 feet tall because we think you can have anyone you want, and you took one of ours. We're a twisted, insecure bunch. And we hit our heads a lot.

Gonnasail, you are a strong runner, really you are. Let's change your image of what that is. You are way faster than me...I struggle to do an 11 min mile!

Kitty - the epsom salts will be near the first aid stuff by the pharmacy. They usually come in cardboard 1/2 gallon cartons (like milk), and are on the bottom shelf. Bonus - epsom salts can also be used as a laxative (directions are on the box), so you get a cheap remedy, 2 for 1.

7jeans, how cold does it get by you? Most of the stuff I have left in sizes that will fit you are wintery...

2getskinny, thanks again - I look forward to getting the pants. I may try your phen trick. Now I take it whole around 10:30 (usually 2 hours after bfast, and 1 hour minimum before lunch. I find that the longer I wait to eat after taking it, the better it works....but starting it earlier in the day may allow for better sleep (even with 2 benadryls I struggle)...

xo all.
