My doctor said that I could stay on it as long as I needed to reach my goal weight, just as long as I show that its helping me to lose weight and not helping me maintain my weight. If I should come to a period where I'm not losing anymore weight, then he will stop for a little while. Although he didnt tell me how long of a break it would be though..
