Time keeps on tickin', tickin', tickin' . . .
I'm so glad for the time change!

It is easier for me to get up during Daylight Savings Time. I think I actually get more sleep. It sound like everyone's weekend was busy. Mine too. My rings look great. I had some repair work done on my wedding set. It needed to be re-tipped, soldered, and deeply cleaned. I also had an appraisal done. It used to have a 4 prong setting but now has a 6 prong setting. I couldn't believe it when my ring started twirling already today. At least I can wear it without worrying about losing it. I won't resize it until I reach goal.
Twinzy - I've been negligent in logging my food. I can say that Friday, Sunday and today I had cereal for breakfast. Friday and today I had Lean Cuisine for lunch. I was good over the weekend. I hope to see a solid loss this week. Maybe I should say I know I will. Hope your quiet weekend was refreshing. I remember days when my girls missed the bus and I had to take them to school. I'd wear whatever I had on. I also prayed that I would get pulled over or into an accident. Comfort and crawling right back into bed was what I was thinking of at the time.
7jeans - I'm with you on sticking together to reach our common goals. I also get you on the exercise. Eight months ago, I was addicted to my gym. I went religiously. Now, I can't seem to find the time. I know I need to make the time, but so much is going on around me that it is so hard. How about we pick 4 days this week that we plan to exercise "together." Say maybe, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday? I will check on you and you can check on me to make sure we have done it. What do you think?
Resmoo- Who cares that the television writers are on strike? We have you to keep us laughing. I absolutely loved your "outside" jogging description. Having visited your city this summer, I can definately relate to to the people watching you do while you are out and about. About the anti-depressants, I have been taking amptriptoline (sp?) for something other than depression, but I was taking it before phen, so I'm not sure if I don't feel too much anxiety or depression. Also, the issue with "the girls" and sports bras. My "girls" are just one of my reasons that I don't run. No matter how good the sports bra, it still hurts to run when you have 40DD running with you. Also, I have bladder issues that prevent me from even jogging too much. I need to have my bladder tied up, but I don't want to slow down long enough to have the procedure done. Maybe next summer I won't teach summer school and I could get it done. Keep sending us the funny tales. I'm sure we all live for it daily.
Miami - You go girl! Running your butt off aren't you? Keep it up.
Gonnasail - I have a few shows I DVR, but not as many as you. How can you keep up with every one of them? I watch The Biggest Loser and Deal or No Deal. And, that is only after it's done recording so that I can FF through the commercials. Again, a time issue for me.
Welcome Macloud! You'll do great with this group. Everyone is so supportive and helpful here. I think I'm probably saving money on therapy by being here. I'm sure as stressful as my life is, I should be seeing a counselor, but this group watches out for me and keeps me sane. Best of luck to you!
LZ - I'm glad you were happy that today was Monday. It sounds like it is at least a small break day for you.

I spent about 7 hours grading papers and planning lessons on Sunday, so my weekend was short-lived. BTW give your son a high five for me. It is great that he earned that recognition. Something like that goes so far in bringing up self-esteem. (yours and his)

When you get your laundry done, I'll PM you my address and you can come help me. Hugs for you and Sparky. I have had to take a dear pet to the vet to be put to sleep. Just after I left my parents house (many years ago) the family pet, Chiquita, a german shepard, got very ill. My parents realized that it was terminal and she was in pain. They couldn't handle taking her to the vet, so my brother and I had to do it. My brother drove the truck and I sat in the back with her. It was hard, but I knew she was in a lot of pain and this was my only way to help her. Knowing her pain went away was the only thing that got me through that ride. I hope Sparky is comfortable. I agree with Macloud about enjoying your time with her.
2getskinny - I'm with you on credit for thinking about the exercise should count. Actually, join 7jeans and me and we will work out "together" this week. Plan for Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. We will check in with each other to be sure we are doing it.
Micmic- You deserve a weekend to celebrate getting your BA. You'll be right on track again because you went right back to work today. You even confessed to your trainer. Brave girl! Keep workin' hard and you'll soon be nippin' at my heels. It wasn't really that long ago that I was in your spot. Just remember that you are worth it!
Kitty- I hope the kids are ok. I haven't noticed a post, but I didn't post over the weekend either. I think they would have been sick right away if the pizzas had been bad. From what I read, it was the pepperoni that may have the problem. It's almost like you can't trust any processed food these days. Anyway, I'm thinking of you and your family.
I will be posting my menu and exercise this week religiously. Come knock on my door and drag me outside to walk with you if you see me slacking off 7jeans and 2getskinny.
