Hi there!

I love this post and all of my new friends. I look forward to another month with all of you. I have to be honest and say it is so nice to be able to use this site to be just that...honest. I have no reservation on telling you guys everything, the good, the bad and the ugly...I am not judged and that is wonderful. Everyone is so supportive, motivating and encouraging! I hope I can be that to everyone in return.

So, maybe I should do what Neil did on The Biggest Loser?? Just kidding. If you do not know, he ate and drank so he would gain weight at weigh in so his next one would be better. To me, that is totally defeating the purpose. Yes, we want to lose, but we need to be healthy first.

My family has a terrible track record for heart disease. My father as had heart issues for as long as I can remember, and had a massive heart attack and open heart surgery oh, 3 years ago...he was only 55 at the time. He is doing very well now. His sister, younger sister had a heart attach and surgery 2 months after he did! I lost three grandparent before they were 55...so I need to keep my heart strong!

Have you noticed, I added a picture! I need to work on that ticker thing the bottom of everyones posts. They are all so cute! The picture is of me (at 190 pounds) in July in Lake Placid at the Ironman Triathlon. Yup, that is the amazing, athletic, unbelievably gorgeous six pack of a husband I am blessed to be married to! Now that was taken after he completed the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run, in 12 hours! He looks like he rolled out of bed, I look more tired there than he does!! Can you tell I am proud of him? We do not have kids, so he is my source of pride!

He would hate it if he new I put his picture here. But I do not have any solo pics of myself...I am the one behind the camera all the time. Hopefully, that will soon change and I will LOVE to have my pic taken!

November goals:
1~post more regularly
2~post calories and workouts
3~lose at least 10 pounds
4~Run 7 miles continuously (according to my half marathon training schedule)
5~smile!

So there you have it! November is a new month, and with that we will become stronger, thinner and healthier.

Looking forward to seeing all of the October buddies here in the November challenge. Twinzy~Thank you so much for keeping this going!
