I agree too. I remember learning in my nutrition class in college that your body needs a minimum of 1200 cal daily just to function properly. If you figure out how many calories you need to maintain your current weight and subtract at least 500 cal from that and eat that amount daily, then you will lose weight. I eat around 1400-1500 cal per day currently.
Edited to add: Also, make sure you work out for at least 30 minutes 6 days a week. Good luck!!
