Default new to this and need a buddy
Hi-

I have been struggling with weight loss for about 4 (almost 5 years) I was always very thin (size 2 or 4) I gained some weight about 7 years ago and lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks on WW without any difficulty. I maintained under 114, until I started with PCOS and RA around 24. I have hoshimoto's thyroiditis (currently hypoactive) I gained about 35 pounds over 2 or 3 months and stayed about that weight a year and went up an additional 30 or so pounds (max weight 178) Since then I lost about 30 pounds and have stayed between 143-153 for the last 3 years. I tried WW again and again, with no luck, a few other programs again same results- I lose 5 pounds stay on the diet and gain it back. I exercise anywhere between 5-12 hours a week, and eat a low gluten/wheat diet, low sugar and moderate dairy. I have also tried acupuncture and yoga breathing to help digestive issues and weight loss. I am not one for taking medication but here I am, starting a program with medication because after the last year of the insane workouts and near over the top restrictive diet, I haven't lost anything. It's not so much the life style change that is my problem- it is the fact that I live a healthy life style and I am still over weight. I haven't given up, but feel close to a breaking point of energy with this whole thing.

So, I am looking to hopefully find someone who I can be a cheerleader for and they can cheer for me. My family is supportive as is my SO, but I really just want to talk to someone going through something similar and have check-ins about goals, the successes and failures of the journey.
