ausgirl, how long have you had diabetes and are you on the insulin pump?

Hubby is Type one, was diagnosed at the age of 15, he is now 38. He was taking 4 shots a day and almost 3 years ago, got on the insulin pump. It has changed our lives dramatically, I no longer want to leave him because of his mean streaks and his sugar levels are staying steady. His A1C stays right around 7.3.

Bigboned girl. I have had Hypoglycemia since I was 16. My diet hasn't changed, I just know what I have to do when my sugar drops. Just make yourself aware of the Signs and Symptoms and take care of yourself and your weight. Alot of times, having Hypoglycemia is a preceptor and will set you up to become a Type 2 Diabetic, not always, but if you do the research and read up on it, you will see the research has been done.
